The A12 is partially blocked at Colchester after an accident involving two vehicles.
The Londonbound side of the carriageway is blocked between the exits for Colchester United's Jobserve Community Stadium and Stanway.
Traffic is slow moving and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
A second accident has closed part of the A12 after an accident between a car and motorbike.
It has happened on the A12 northbound between the football stadium at junction 28 and the Ardleigh Interchange at J29.
Traffic is slow moving in both directions.

Colchester – Via Urbis Romanae – Slow moving traffic on both directions between Westway and the A12. Delays not helped by the problems on the A12.
