A PUB is helping those embarking on Veganuary by adding vegan-friendly meals to their menu.
The Centurion in Colchester town centre has swapped pulled pork for Jackfruit, served with steamed bao buns, which diners can pair with vegan mayonnaise.
For anyone taking on the month-long challenge there is butternut squash macaroni and cheese, dairy-free grilled cheese, nachos and even deserts.
The pub's general manager, Daniel Davis, said: “Taking up a diet change such as Veganuary can be challenging. That is why we've created a diverse vegan menu everyone will enjoy."
Vegan grub will stay on the menu past January too.
