PART of a busy Colchester road will close for four nights from next week for roadworks.
From Tuesday between 8pm and 5am, Lexden Road will be shut from St Leonard’s Lexden Church to West Lodge Road.
This is while Essex County Council carry out surface treatments and repair existing defects to the street.
Ward councillors advise the works are in preparation for a full surface dressing of Lexden Road during the spring/ summer season.
