A SPECIAL little girl was able to meet her favourite snow princess in time for Christmas.

Erin Sadler, from Colchester, has has kidney, liver and heart disease among other serious medical conditions.

The five-year-old has had a tough year, having had 56 blood transfusions in 52 days.

She was due to go to Euro Disney last year, a special treat organised by the Magic Moments Charity through East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

However, she fell very ill and the trip had to be cancelled.

Wanting Erin to meet her favourite princess, Lucy’s Princess Parties organised for princess Elsa from Frozen to come to her house.

Erin’s mum Helen said: “I couldn’t say no to that one, Elsa was absolutely excellent.”This was a huge thing for Erin and it worked well with our Winter Wonderland backdrop.

“Erin was due to go to Euro Disney last year but had a mass haemorrhage and it was cancelled.

“A lady called Lucy messaged me and offered a complimentary visit.

“I couldn’t say no to that one, Elsa was absolutely excellent.”

Elsa’s visit came after Erin’s grandad Philip created a Winter Wonderland scene in their conservatory.

Helen and Erin’s grandad Philip created a magical Lapland in their conservatory.

The wintery scene features a castle and igloos made from Erin’s medicine boxes and even a snow queen with hair made out of her feeding tubes.

Erin, who attends Highwoods Primary School, was also given the opportunity to go to Lapland to meet Santa in 2016 but as she was too ill, she could not go.

The Winter Wonderland scene means she can experience the same thing at home.

Erin enjoys throwing a touch of glitter into the magical conservatory whenever she goes in.
