THESE are the pharmacies open on New Year's Day across north Essex.
Boots branches in Stanway Retail Park (10am-4pm), Lion Walk (10.30am-4.30pm, Victoria Place in Brightlingsea (10am-2pm), Pier Avenue in Clacton (10am-3pm), and Dovercourt High Street (10am-2pm) will all be open for people to pick up their prescriptions.
Asda's pharmacy in Turner Rise will open from 10am to 6pm, and Prescriptions to You, Clacton, between 10am and 4pm.
This year the NEE CCG is asking residents throughout Colchester and Tendring to contact NHS 111 or attend Minor Injury Units in Clacton and Harwich if they have a minor illness or a non-life threatening condition.
Colchester Walk-in Centre is open daily from 7am until 10pm. Call reception on 01206 314015.
