POLICE are appealing following a stabbing in Harwich in the early hours of this morning.
The victim believed to be in his 20s has suffered a stab wound to the back of his head after the attack on Currents Lane at around 1.15am.
He has since been discharged from hospital and is in a stable condition.
It is believed he was attacked by three or four men described as "white and aged in their 20s."
The attackers, two of which were wearing grey jackets and light blue jeans, then fled the scene in the direction of Bathside.
A search of the area was undertaken by police, however no trace of the men were found.
