A MOTORIST was forced to swerve off the road to avoid a crash.
A man was driving a Ford Galaxy along Rowhedge Road in Rowhedge close to the junction with Chapel Street when he had to veer off the carriageway to stop a head on crash.
The driver, 58, and his passenger, a man aged 66, suffered minor injuries.
Whoever was driving the other car failed to stop.
The incident happened at 10.25pm on Saturday, December 1.
Police want to speak to the motorist or any witnesses who should call PC Alan Marks in the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101.
