Cllr Darius G Laws was justifiably critical of Domino’s noisy pizza vans. (Gazette, December 5).
I’m glad to know he is concerned about library closures. (Gazette, November 29).
Opposing library closures is popular in Colchester.
I’d like to know if Cllr Laws is equally concerned about other consequences of Tory austerity.
These include slashing public services, pay cuts, food banks, insecure work, record levels of winter deaths, police cuts making communities unsafe, cruel changes to disability benefits and 20 per cent of the population in poverty, including children.
