SANTA will be touring Colchester next month in a bid to raise money for two charities.

Dave Harris, Colchester councillor for Berechurch, will be joining Santa - aka Stuart Bull - in his sleigh as he brings Christmas cheer to residents.

The project will be raising money for Colchester Foodbank and Colchester Children’s Charity.

The veteran Labour councillor said: “Two years ago I started a Santa tour around my area.

“We converted my trailer into a sleigh and toured around streets in my neighbourhood, bringing Christmas joy to people of all ages.

“And this year I am doing it again.
