STANWAY Rovers suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Redbridge in their Essex Senior League fixture at The Hawthorns.
It ended a six-game unbeaten run and leaves Terry Spillane's side 12th in the table with six wins, three draws and seven defeats from their 16 matches.
Next up is a trip to St Margaretsbury on Saturday.
Ironically, the Hertfordshire side were the last team to beat Stanway, having inflicted a 5-0 defeat in the Errington Challenge Cup on October 23.
