THREE amateur photographers have paid a unique tribute to First World War soldiers, creating Tommy silhouettes at Essex landmarks.
Kevin Jay, Ken Durling and Lee Jordan Bland created the outlines using lights and leaving the camera shutter open for longer than normal.
They created the images in Clacton's Memorial Gardens and Clacton Pier, Walton's Naze beach, Walton Pier, Frinton's iconic seafront shelter, one of Dovercourt's lighthouses.
Kevin, Ken and Lee are members of the Gazette's camera club. Search for Gazette Camera Club Colchester on Facebook to get involved.
