A BOY has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car which did not stop.
Police are appealing for information after the child was hit by a light blue Ford in Shrub End Road, Colchester, at 3.20pm today.
The driver carried on and then turned into Boadicea Way.
The boy - who is 11 - was taken to hospital with serious but non-life changing injuries.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked contact Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident 711 of November 8.
