YOUNGSTERS turned out to enjoy some spooktacular Halloween fun at the weekend.
Maldon Carnival hosted the Halloween At The Prom event in Promenade Park in the town on Saturday.
Little ones got to grips with spooky slime making workshops, creepy crafts and a mystifying maze.
There was also a petrifying puzzle to solve, with children getting a treat bag once they had completed it.
Those attending turned out in their best fancy dress for a competition.
Carnival chairman Rob Slight said: “We had well over 100 children across the day.
“They were all trying the slime workshop – that was very popular.
“It was the first time we have ever done a Halloween At The Prom event and it seems to have been quite a success.”
