A CHARITY is expecting to welcome hundreds of visitors to its headquarters for its annual Christmas fair.

The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation has revealed local sellers will be offering clothes, bags, jewellery and books on the day.

Shoppers will be able to get ahead with their festive presents while enjoying a range of cakes and biscuits. Re-loved furniture and artwork will also be available.

Nikki Bowdidge, chief executive and founder, said: “This is the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation’s third Christmas fair and it promises to be bigger than ever.

“We have a huge range of gifts, food and even decorations from the foundation’s special range

for you to be able to snap up to make your Christmas extra special.

“We have enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces at our previous, popular Christmas fairs as well as meeting new friends and we know this year will be no different.”

The foundation’s Christmas Fair will be followed by the lighting of the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation’s Christmas tree at the White Hart, in West Bergholt, on Saturday, November 17. It will take place from 5.30pm with food and drink on offer.

Stallholders at the Christmas Fair include Proper Cake, Pop of Silver, Daisy Maine and the Gift Room. Usborne Books will also be on sale and those looking for something different can try From the Garden Gate’s goats milk soap.

Nikki said: “Christmas shopping can be one of the most daunting things for any person.

“Why not take the stress out and enjoy it by coming to the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation’s Christmas fair and know you are helping raise money for children with cancer at the same time?

The fayre will run from noon to 8pm on Friday, November 16 at 9 Firmins Court, West Bergholt. Entry is £1.
