A DRIVER is raging after having been slapped with a fine for stopping for TWO MINUTES.
Alexandra James visited the Old Heath Co-op and thought nothing of the quick stop until she received a letter from the parking company, National Parking Enforcement Ltd.
It said she must pay £100 for parking from 9.25am until 9.27am - a total of two minutes.
Alexandra, 37, said: “All I did was nip in and out, when I got that letter I was fuming.
“I refused to pay it and have appealed, I have asked them how they can justify a fine for two minutes?”
Alan Toussaint, from Rowhedge, received eight parking fines while shopping at the same Co-op, after the company brought in the security firm.
