A seven-year-old boy involved in an accident in Llandudno during a break in the Wales Rally GB remains in a critical condition.

Riley Dexter, 7, was involved in a collision involving two motorcycles as a part of a display team on the Llandudno Promenade during a break in the Wales Rally GB on Sunday, October 7.

The seven-year-old was airlifted by the Welsh Air Ambulance to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool in a critical condition.

The British Mini Bike (BMB) paddock held a "ride for Riley" event on the weekend where riders completed a number of laps around the track to show their support for Riley.

In a video posted to YouTube, BMB said the reigning 2017 Junior SM 90 Bambino Champion remained in a critical condition and their thoughts and prayers were with him.

BMB, in the video, said: "Get well soon Riley from all the BMB team and paddock. The whole BMB paddock is behind you."

Two fundraising pages have been set up to help support Riley and his family with one already raising more than £3000.
