RunWales will be bringing a new half marathon to Llandudno which will take in an iconic landmark.
The Llandudno Trail Half Marathon will be held for the first time in April 2019 and will see competitors run the course across the Great Orme.
While the Conwy Half Marathon, coming up on November 18, already encompasses part of the Orme in its 13 mile route, this new event will take place solely on the Llandudno landmark.
RunWales, on Facebook, said: "The route starts and finishes in the beautiful Happy Valley which has the Victorian Pier and the North Shore as its background.
"The race goes straight into a hill to take you to the top of the Great Orme, once up on top the race is merely undulating, with light rolling ups and downs.
"There's lots to see whilst running: The hills of Snowdonia, Puffin Island, Anglesey, views out towards Rhos on Sea, you will also see the Great Orme trams and cable cars."
The event will take place on Sunday, April 7. For more information and to book your spot visit www.runwales.com.
