A MOTORCYCLE rider was left with two broken legs after a crash in Colchester.
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the smash, in Southway.
The red Honda 125cc motorcycle was travelling towards Lexden at around 4.10am on Friday when it left the road, coming to a stop on the opposite carriageway.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The rider sustained two broken legs and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"If you saw or heard anything, were driving in the area and have dash cam footage or have any other information please call us on 101 quoting incident 98 of October 5."
