A MAN charged with sexual offences against a woman from Colchester has been released on conditional bail to live outside of the county by Colchester Magistrates’ Court while police investigations continue.
Peter Ferguson, 42, of Keelers Way, Great Horkesley, who works for Colchester Council, faces charges of sexual assault by penetration, sexual touching and trespass with the intention of committing a sexual offence.
The policing investigation in to the offences alleged to have happened on September 21, and involves the arrangement of a masseuse called Steve to visit the woman’s address in the Highwoods area.
A statement from Essex Police said: "The wider circumstances of the investigation are looking in to a profile on dating app Bumble in the name of Matt or Matthew Parker who claims to be an airline pilot which has connected with people in across the eastern region.
"Enquiries are being led by our North Adult Sexual Assault Investigation Team who can be contacted by calling 101."
