Disovery - police have found 1,000 cannabis plants in Davey Close, Colchester
POLICE have uncovered 1,000 cannabis plants after executing a warrant.
Officers executed a warrant just after 10pm on Wednesday in Davey Close, Colchester.
They found the plants and associated equipment inside.
Police remain on the scene today and are seizing the plant.
Enquiries as to who is behind the cultivation are ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Colchester police station on 101 quoting incident 1393 of September 12 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
