The town centre and seafront came alive with all things Italian - the food, music and of course, cars.

The event recreated the atmosphere, sights and smells of Italy.

There were stunning supercars, an Italian market, crafts for the kids, music and more, with activities for all the family to enjoy.

A supercar parade started at about 11.30am and it made its way along the seafront from Chalkwell Esplanade to the Kursaal.

The cars where then on display for the rest of the day with people enjoying seeing the supercars.

Some of the cars on display included Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lancia and Fiat cars and Italian scooters.

The event also included Italian music, Italian poetry, choir performances and much more.

The supercars were very popular with the visitors and families who also had a chance to enjoy some Italian delicacies.

Hundreds of people attended the event, posing for photos with the supercars, browsing the stalls and enjoying the live entertainment.
