Pedestrian seriously hurt in crash
A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car crashed in Maldon Road, Colchester.
Essex Police were called to reports of a collision between a black Volkswagen polo and a pedestrian shortly before 10.30pm on Sunday.
A spokesman added: “A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening or changing injuries.”
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said it attended and took a man to Colchester General Hospital with suspected head injuries.
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses are asked to contact Essex Police on 101.
