Paul Nixon is ready to wheel and deal in a bid to give cricket fans some exciting action over the next two days.
The adventurous Leicestershire captain has been kicking his heels over the last two days, which has seen just 12 balls delivered in his team's four-day LV Championship match against Essex at Castle Park.
Wicket-keeper/captain Nixon told the Gazette: "The Colchester festival has been so disappointing so far for the people.
"But if we can get out and play today and Saturday, I'm sure the game can still produce a positive result.
"I'm very much in favour of playing positive cricket and with a little bit of wheeling and dealing I'm sure something can be worked out."
