High-flying A -Level student Lauren Goundry will be notching up a first when she joins her elder sister at medical school.
Lauren,18, and sister Beth, 21, of Great Holland look like being the first sisters to go to the Brighton and Sussex Medical College.
Lauren was delighted after achieving five A grades in her A levels in geography, chemistry, biology, maths and general studies.
The sisters are the daughters of doctor Guy Goundry, a partner in the Walton Practice.
Both girls sat their A-Levels at Colchester County High School for Girls.
