Stansted Airport is facing its busiest weekend of the year this Bank Holiday, with up to 320,000 passengers expected to take to the air.
Airport staff are reminding people using Stansted of the safety restrictions in place with a Prepare for Summer campaign.
Nick Cole, Stansted's head of terminal, said: "July and August are always busy months for us at Stansted and we are expecting the August bank holiday to be the busiest weekend of the summer getaway.
"It is extremely important passengers arrive at Stansted prepared for the current security restrictions that are in place.
"We would advise passengers to arrive at least two hours before their flight is due to depart, keep hand luggage to a minimum, and go through security as soon as they have checked in.
"We recommend everyone travelling through Stansted to visit the website (below) before they leave for the airport, to ensure they fully understand the current security rules."
