An environmental action group is looking for more people to get involved and help improve the area.
The Harwich Environmental Action Team (HEAT) works hard to tackle environmental issues in Harwich, Dovercourt and the area surrounding the towns.
Eileen Tyrer, HEAT chairman, said: "We would like more people definitely."
She said volunteers would help clean up areas and learn about environmental issues, swans and wildlife.
As well as needing people to help deal with the environmental aspect of their work they also need someone who could help do their paperwork and someone to act as treasurer.
- If you would like to get involved in HEAT call Mrs Tyrer on 01255 503886.
