It's like an Aladdin's cave - wall to wall there are trinkets and tasters of a town's brimming seagoing history.
But at the heart of Harwich's Maritime museum is a team of helpers in need of an extra boost.
Volunteers are needed to lend a helping hand and maintain the maritime marvels contained inside the seafront's Low Lighthouse, a building that has stood at the spot since 1818.
The museum is open now until September, seven days a week and costs £1 for adults. Children under 16 are free.
