A NEW cafe with a twist has officially opened in Colchester.
Dice and a Slice, in Queen Street, is the perfect eatery for lovers of board games.
Annabel Hutton and her family have been obsessed with board games since they began buying them at Christmas, and now have an impressive collection of 450 games.
And they are now putting them to good use by moving them all to the cafe for others to enjoy.
The venue runs as a normal cafe but if people want to play games they can pay £2 for an hour or £5 a day, and can play as many different games as they want.
Visitors have been enjoying cakes, pies, sandwiches and salads while playing their favourite games.
Annabel said: “It’s quite an open and modern space, there are lots of splashes of colour.”
Gamers can also book tables and games, visit www.diceandaslice.co.uk.
