Mika
4 Music Stage, Sunday, 5.45pm
If you want to be entertained, then Mika is your man.
A wave of festival-goers flooded the 4 Music stage to see Mika perform a set of uplifting, feel-good tunes, including his recent hits Big Girls and Grace Kelly.
He brought the songs to life for the crowd, featuring a giant blow-up big girl' on stage and several larger ladies dancing confidently around his as he sang.
Mika's cover version of Annie Lennox's Sweet Dreams was a hit with the crowd and suited him.
At the introduction to Grace Kelly the audience went wild, dancing and jumping, while people dressed in bunny suits and what looked like cartoon characters walked onto the stage, dancing with him.
However people who expect Mika to be a novelty act will be surprised.
Yes, his music is pop and easy to enjoy, but some is also quite heavy on the guitar and surprisingly good.
Mika's set was a refreshing change to the more trendy bands featured at the festival and should be a must at any festival in the future.
