ART students from Colchester Institute and the University Centre Colchester present Unfinished Business - their end of summer exhibition.
The collections of work will showcase pieces completed throughout the year from fashion and textiles, fine art, graphic design, 3D design and craft, and photography degree students.
Artists at all levels who undertook diplomas in similar subjects will also exhibit at the Hay Gallery at the Sheepen Road campus.
Photography degree student, Carina Ioannou, said: “The degree has flown by incredibly fast and it has been a great journey of learning, discovery and hard work which has culminated in a fantastic exhibition of photography, art and design from all the pathways.
"Our photography class has produced some innovative, exciting and intriguing work we hope will really surprise our guests.
"However, none of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for the tutors and staff nurturing us as students and artists. They really are the unsung heroes of our degree.”
The doors will officially open for a preview night this Thursday, from 6pm until 9pm.
Hurley’s Ice Cream van, a bar serving alcohol and Joe Jackson's Fish Hut, coming all the way from the Suffolk coast, will be on-site.
Waitrose Colchester has also donated free wine for guests.
Unfinished Business will also show on Friday, 9am to 4pm, Saturday from 9am to 12 noon, and next week Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm.
