Oktoberfest to return to Castle Park this year
OKTOBERFEST is due to return to Castle Park this year.
Promoters of the event have just announced on Facebook the popular festival will return to Lower Castle Park.
The post said: "The world famous Oktoberfest returns to Essex - Colchester for another huge weekend of traditional Bavarian entertainment, food and drink.
"Once again celebrate the most important date of Germany's cultural calendar comes to the UK and arrives again in Colchester!"
There had been questions over whether the festival would go ahead following a backlash from residents last year.
