There’s a double dose of Sir Bob this weekend with his first Town Hall tour, inspired by his newspaper columns, and then the second of his town centre walks, which takes in some well known, and not so well known historic sites.

Colchester composer Jason Frederick is back with another season of classic Horror flicks, the first of which is the sequel to Tales from the Crypt, starring Daniel Massey, Michael Craig, Curt Jurgens, Terry Thomas and Glynis Johns.

The acclaimed theatre company presents a funny, slapstick, glove puppet show with beautifully crafted puppets, clowning and gentle humour. There is also a mime workshop for beginners linked to the show taking place in the morning.

Highlights this month mostly consist of perennial favourites James Eastwood, Frank Jordan and Charlie Davison, poet Natalie Smith. There’s also a SlackFolk debut from Scarletts Road, a multifaceted Colchester group with a wide-ranging repertoire.
