COMMUTERS were given a little extra love as cupcakes were handed out on trains this morning.
Greater Anglia treated its passengers to Valentine’s Day treats to say thank you to their customers.
In total, 12,000 were given away, with commuters taking to Twitter to say thanks.
Andrew Goodrum, Greater Anglia’s customer service director, said: “We carry out a number of customer service initiatives throughout the year, including Valentine’s Day cupcakes, Christmas cookies and ice creams during the summer.
“It’s to thank passengers for their custom and let them know that our staff are always there to help make life a little easier while travelling with us.
“We have received a lot of positive feedback from our customers and we are pleased they are enjoying their treats.”
