PROBLEMS on the Southminster line are causing chaos for commuters in the district.
A signalling fault between Althorne and Southminster has caused trains to be running at reduced speed.
A number of services have also set off from Wickford rather than Southminster.
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Wickford and #Southminster trains have to run at reduced speed. Services running to and from these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until 10:00. KB

A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: "There are delays to services between Wickford and Southminster.
"This is due to a fualt with the signalling system between Wickford and Southminster.
"Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption."
