A12 fire causes delays
Drivers suffered delays this morning after smoke from a vehicle fire spread across the A12.
The vehicle caught light in the layby on the London-bound carriageway of the A12 close to junction 28, the Weston Homes Community Stadium at north Colchester.
The fire started at 6.30am and led to smoke billowing across both carriageway.
The fire was put out by 7.40am and traffic was running smoothly again.
