SUSPECTED drug dealers have appeared in court after police raided two homes.
Four people have been charged with a series of offences after two warrants were executed in Clacton.
Lucy Miller, prosecuting, said: “A quantity of drugs were recovered, including 54 wraps of high purity cocaine, and 32 wraps of heroin and further drugs.”
The estimated value was more than £2,000.
The raids took place on February 2.
Wesley Rainford, 27, of St Osyth Road, Clacton, was charged with four offences.
It is alleged he was in possession of crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin and MDMA with intent to supply.
He appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday yesterday.
Charly Lee-Taylor, 25, of Forest Park Avenue, Clacton, was charged with two offences.
It is alleged she was in possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
Kenny Aldred, 23, of Sladbury’s Lane, Clacton, was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Jessica Mallett, 24, of St Osyth Road, Clacton, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
All four were separately charged and all four were released on bail to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on June 13 when they are due to formally enter pleas to the charges.
