SUPERMARKET colleagues are now the proud owners of a bizarre world record after 15 of them managed to squeeze into a Fiat 500.
Supple staff at the Tollgate Sainsbury’s store in Stanway crammed into the car as part of their Red Nose Day celebrations.
The previous record holders were students from the ESSCA Business School in Paris who managed 14 in April 2011.
Store manager Kevin Jones said he was delighted.
He said: “It is great for them and something they will hopefully remember.
“We wanted to do something to raise money but also to have fun, which is what Comic Relief is all about.
“As a store we will raise more than £50,000 which is a great amount.”
