AN MP faced some tough questions when he went back to class for the day.
Year five and six pupils at Heathlands Primary School in West Bergholt gave Harwich and North Essex MP Bernard Jenkin a grilling during his visit on Friday.
Teacher Tom Hassard said: "The idea of it was the pupils were quite inquisitive to know how things like Brexit and Donald Trump affected him."
Questions put to the Tory MP during the 40-minute session included whether he supported Brexit, what his job involved and if he had any regrets.
Mr Jenkin also gave an insight into Parliament.
His visit concluded with a school tour.
Children's work around the event included research beforehand and writing up reports afterwards.
