Rail passengers are being advised to plan longer for their journeys this weekend.
Services are being altered, with alternative buses laid on, while engineering work is carried out.
For journeys from Braintree, Clacton or Colchester to London Liverpool Street, trains will terminate, or start from Ilford from 8pm on Saturday to 1pm on Sunday.
There will be a bus service between Ilford and Redbridge, connecting with the underground Central line to Liverpool Street.
