ESSEX have moved to bypass the jinx that has struck their bowling attack this season by bringing former England medium-pacer Martin Saggers to the Ford County Ground.
Kent's Saggers has joined the Essex ranks on a one-month loan and could make his debut in the LV County Championship division two encounter against Northamptonshire at Chelmsford tomorrow.
The former England right-arm swing bowler has been cleared for an immediate start by his home county, who are hoping he will get a chance of first-team cricket after being edged out of the Kent attack this season.
