She said: "It was fantastic to see so many of Nick's friends and family come out to stand in unity and pay tribute to him in such a personal way, sharing memories, tears and laughter and some great music. We'd like to thank Anthony Roberts and his team for organising such a fitting tribute, as well as everyone who came along to celebrate Nick's life."

Anthony Roberts, Arts Centre director. said: "It started at 7.30pm and we danced throughout until 1.30am.

"At midnight we had a little moment to remember why we were all there and the family came together.

"It was a great atmosphere, everyone brought a little bit of Nick with them. It was like the old days."

Nick was shot dead when terrorists stormed the the Bataclan concert hall in Paris on November 13. He was one of 89 people killed.

He was working as the merchandise manager for American rock band Eagles of Death Metal.

Nick had previously organised club nights, called Club Svelte, and deejayed at the venue.

His friends, including Matt Walsh, Sam Leppard and Sarah Wright, were DJs for the night.

Images of Nick and some of the things he enjoyed, such as scooters and the A-Team, created by Adam Musset, were projected onto walls.

Mr Roberts said visuals like these were introduced to the venue by Nick.

Proceeds from the night will go to a memorial to be decided by the family.

More than 250 people attended Nick's funeral in Weeley, where Nick grew up, on December 21.
