FUNDRAISERS ran around Colchester’s Castle Park dressed in their onesies in aid of a head injury charity.

The second annual Onesie Runsie, organised by Headway, took place this morning.

About 60 people took part in the event, completing either a 1K or 5K route.

The charity’s community fundraising manager Anna Smith said: “It was really great fun.

“It’s just something a bit quirky. You’ve got an excuse to wear your onesie in public.

“The participants all really enjoyed it I think. We’ve had loads of great feedback.”

Volunteers are still counting up how much money was raised by the race, which was sponsored by Haart estate agents.
