A haul of suspected Class A substances were seized after police swooped on an alleged drugs den in the second raid to take place in Colchester in four days.
A team of ten officers dressed in riot gear and stab proof vests descended on an address in Port Lane - breaking down the back door to the house to gain entry.
Six police cars, a dog unit and police van lined the narrow street as officers, helped by trainee officers from the Professional Development Unit, searched the property.
They discovered a quantity of suspected Class A and Class C drugs, as well as suspected stolen items and cash.
The operation, led by PC Trudi Hooper, followed weeks of intelligence-gathering from police and the public.
It came just four days after officers from Tiptree neighbourhood policing team closed down a suspected cannabis factory in Birch.
Neighbours in the area reported they heard police begin Friday morning's raid at about 7.50am.
