A MAN has denied a charge of careless driving relating to a crash which saw a car crushed between two lorries.
Kevin Mann, 51, was driving a skip lorry on the A120 at 7.30am on December 9 when he was involved in a crash with a Volkswagen Golf and another lorry.
The accident happened opposite the Kings Arms pub, in Little Tey.
A woman was airlifted to hospital after being cut free from the Golf. She did not suffer serious injuries.
Mann, of Coach Road, in Great Horkesley, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday and denied driving without due care and attention.
The trial is due to be held at Colchester Magistrates’ Court in July. Mann was granted unconditional bail.
