Campaigner in knive summit with minister
Violent crime is the biggest issue facing Colchester today, according to the town’s Tory Westminster hopeful Will Quince.
The Colchester councillor was speaking after setting up a meeting between Justice Secretary Chris Grayling and campaigner Caroline Shearer, whose own son was murdered in the town in 2012.
She went on to start the charity, Only Cowards Carry, which campaigns against knife crime.
