Thousands of pounds worth of industrial machinery has been stolen from lorries parked in a compound.
Three thieves broke into the Twenty Twelve civil site in Oxford Road, Clacton, at about 10.30pm on Tuesday, May 13.
Police believe the men drove a white Ford tipper van into the site and removed items from the back of three lorries which were parked in the yard.
They took two breaker packs and industrial guns, two beige petrol cement mixers, three wacker plates and a saw.
Investigating officer Pc Jamie Welsh, said: "I would like anybody that saw anything suspicious to contact me.
"I would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the tools for sale."
