FIREFIGHTERS rescued two people after decking next to a house caught fire.
The fire crews from Dovercourt put up a ladder to the balcony of the house in Wrabness Road, Ramsey, and brought the two down to safety.
They used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which had started at just before midnight on Saturday.
The blaze was out in 35 minutes.
The house was heavily smoked logged and a high pressure fan was used to ventilate it.
The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious but is still being investigated.
