GREATER Anglia has scheduled engineering work on some weekends next year.
There will be replacement buses on two Saturdays and six Sundays between February 15 and March 30 on the Norwich to London mainline.
There is no work involving bus replacement planned after March.
The firm has worked with Network Rail to keep the amount of work to a minimum.
Richard Schofield, Network Rail’s route managing director, said: “Over the past year we have changed the way we have undertaken maintenance and upgrade programmes.
“We recognise there is never a convenient time to close the railway and we’ve worked hard to honour the commitment we made to reduce disruptive engineering work carried out over weekends.”
