COLCHESTER MP Sir Bob Russell held a marathon advice bureau in a bid to see constituents.
During his 12 hour session on Friday, he had 36 appointments which he believes is a national record for an MP in a single sitting.
The bureau started at 9am and finished at 9pm that night.
In his 16 years as an MP Sir Bob has offered more than 10,000 appointments and is now fully-booked until the end of January.
