Ram raiders drive into shop
RAM RAIDERS drove into a shop in West Bergholt two weeks ago but police only made an appeal for witnesses today.
They smashed the window of the Co-Op store in Chapel Road between 2.30am and 3.30am on October 23.
Once inside they stole "a large quantity of cigarettes".
PC James Pamment said: "I am appealing for any witnesses or information regarding this offence and the vehicle involved.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time or has been offered cigarettes cheaply call me at Colchester police station on 101."
